The Longest Day

One benefit in living in Scotland is the longer days during summer. Today is the longest day and here are two photos from sun rise and sun set.

Commonwealth Games Baton Relay: Ayr

This evening the Baton arrived in Ayr.  Kathie and I started off at the top of the Sandgate. A narrow road with a light crowd.  Here are photos which attracted my eye.

Glasgow School of Art

Jean and I rode the bus to Glasgow and had a look at the fire damaged building. Very sad but good too see work already in progress.

The Fine Art students' display was housed in the McLellan Gallery. Each graduate was allowed one photograph of a standard size.  My favourite was two women standing in the charred remains of their work wearing colourful and sparkling gas masks.

This is also our first visit to the Reid Building.

Visit to Helen's

We had a few days in Darlington looking after Ethan and Finlay while Helen and Andrew were working.

Sunny Sunny Day

Really great day. Even ate out side for the first time this year.

I needed that sun cream.

Jean was busy.
