C2C Ride in Memory of Neil Polson
Andrew joined a number of Neil's friends and work colleagues to ride Coast to Coast from Whitehaven to Roker in Sunderland over 2 days. Total distance was 136 miles!
This with minimum training on his new bike. Quite an achievement.
To cap it all Andrew completed the Great North Run Half Marathon today. Completing 3 Days of effort. Again the run was done from about zero training. Only 2 other runs this year!. We are all very proud of him.

Trip To Edinburgh
Jean and I had an overnight stay in Edinburgh. Visited a couple of exhibitions at the National Portrait gallery and the Scottish National Gallery.
Very nice meal at the David Bann veggie restaurant.
