Olympic Torch in Ayr

We went down near the Carrick Lodge Hotel to view the torch pass through Ayr. A good crowd even this far from the town centre.

I managed to get by a change over point between two runners. Before the first runner arrived the receiving running had her torch "primed" to accept the flame.

Burns Festival

In Wellington Square there were large sculptures made of cardboard boxes including this big arch.

Plus a number of musical entertainers and food stalls.

South Ayrshire Schools Swimming

Erin was in the Forehill Relay Team and helped the school to win 2nd place. The silver medal proudly held.
