Trip To London

We had a short trip to London. I was keen to see the photographic exhibition at Tate Modern. A selection of Elton John's collection from the first half of the 20th century.

Had a bracing walk on the banks of the Thames.

Great birthday with the family. Jean's excellent chocolate cake as usual. I'm a "real" pensioner now.

Erin's 15th Birthday

After Erin, Katherine and Helen had been to Glasgow to help Erin spend her birthday money we gathered for birthday cake.

Back Outdoors

After the Christmas days cooped up eating, drinking and watching the wind and rain fire my neighbour's trampoline over the fence and across my garden. It's time to take advantage of the improving light down by the river.

Christmas 2016

Helen, Andrew and the boys have moved into their new home in Alloway. It's the first time we have all lived near each other. No longer having to travel for hours to visit.

Both daughters and family live within 2 miles of us.

Finlay and I had a great time on Sunday. I gave him one of my old cameras to play with and a bag to walk around the house with taking the camera in and out. He quickly learnt how to turn it on, take a photo and use the play back to view.
