Morning in the Winter Sun.

Dropped the car off at the Honda garage. Had bacon and French toast in the Secret Garden followed by a very pleasant hour pressing the shutter.

Don't often see the sun low in the Eastern sky shining brightly down the River Doon.

Rhys's 13th Birthday

We all gathered this evening for Rhys's birthday.

Jean supplied  her usual delicious chocolate cake as requested by Rhys.

His present of a small electronic set of drums was particularly popular with us.

HP Christmas Dinner

Our annual Christmas dinner was held at Bar XXII.  Food was good but room was cramped and the service was a bit slow. The restaurant was packed and both function rooms were occupied. It was running at full capacity. Some excuse for delays.

For those still working at Erskine significant changes are underway. Plenty of discussion on what may lay ahead. But all were optimistic and positive.

Durham Lumiere

The biannual Lumiere at Durham was on recently. Jean and I spent a marathon 3 hours walking round. The highlight for me was the lights in the steep riverside bank under the cathedral.

The Lighthouse - Glasgow

We had a trip to Glasgow to have visit a couple of photo showings. Spent some time in The Lighthouse Design Centre by the Trongate.

Its an old Macintosh build which has been partly rapped in a modern skin. Interesting exhibits.
