Trip to London

Took in a good exhibition at the Barbican Centre. Enjoyed the two lovely meals in the theatre district by Covent Garden.

Walking Group: Around Irvine

Tom took us a good walk around Irvine. Very knowledge of local history.

Scones and coffee at GRO on the harbour side were first class. We were luck as the rain came on as we headed to our cars.

Finlay's Day

As nursery is closed we entertained Finlay. Great fun as usual.

Walking Group: Loch Doon

We walked into the park to the loch. My right hip was complaining so I opted out of rough walking condition as the rest followed the river from the dam.

Nice to do this route in warm weather. Wind, showers and cold conditions prevailed earlier in the year

The Disgrace of Ayr Station

Ayr Station Hotel and sections used by Network Rail and now a danger to travellers and passers by. What a state to be in.
