Our New Walking Group

Fiona set to and has organised a weekly outing as a walking group. The group is made up of old work mates, family members and pet dogs.  Main objectives are to get a bit of exercise, a good blather and refreshments afterwards.

This is the group who walked at Irvine Beach Park recently.

January and February in Ayrshire has been mostly rain, snow and wind. We have been fortunate that for our 2 hour excursions  we have missed the worst. Although on our first walk we did have a spell of horizontal hail stones.

Eric stayed with us for New Year. Got roped in to having the "Clock" photo taken after the bells.

Boxing Day

A quiet day until 5pm when Helen's family plus Linda arrived. Followed by Katherine and her offspring. 10 of us for a light dinner but included wine, port and gin.

Crowded but to have everyone together was a highlight of the holidays. I think everyone received the presents that suited them. I was certainly very happy with mine, factual books, note books and a novel pen. Of course plenty of opportunity for photographs.

Guess Who and Operation- The old favorites are still going.
