Walking Group: Prestwick Beach Loop

Our second post lockdown walk. Participation increasing. We walked in 3 groups. Very windy from an unusual NE direction.  Very lucky with the weather in that only two light showers swept past.  A far bigger  burst hit as we drove home.

A smaller group remained for a light picnic out on the prom.

Walking Group: Dumfries House

First walk since lockdown. Really enjoyed being in greenery again. Spending a couple of hours concentrating on photography. Plus of course the excellent company.

No coffee shop but a picnic in the car park. Jean baked us a round of fruit scones first thing.

Thursday's Walk

Jean and I had a saunter by the river to the UWS campus and back. Keeping a good distance from other walkers. Glorious sun if a little chilly but toastie warm by the time we got home.

All the benefits lost to a fruit loaf cooked by Jean, yummy.

Walking Group: Maidens/Culzean

This turned out to be our last walk before taking the Government advice to stop group social interactions.

Conditions were lovely. No Rain!!! Blue skies and limited wind.

Our WhatsApp group has morphed into a socialising function.  Very active and a great source of laughter and also concern.

I can't not photo these trees. How have the branches got like that?

We all admired Robert's new car.

Checking Out The "Hospital Walk"

Jean and I did the start of the walk from Alloway to Ayr Hospital to check out conditions.

Didn't see the beautiful blue brickwork before.
