Polty's Last Blast: Hamsterley Forest

The mountain biking route in memory of Neil Polson was formally opened this weekend at Hamsterley Forest.

We trudged up a couple of miles of forest road to the start.  I thought the event was really just with immediate family and friends  but it was  much larger with representatives from the Forestry Commission, Hamsterley TrailBuilders and the local Council.

Speeches were given including some very nice works from Linda. She mentions that Neil and Andrew had used the Forest since they were very young. Way before the mountain biking craze.
